Sabancı University Integrated Manufacturing Technologies Research and Application Center - TÜMER (SUIMC) has been awarded a "Level B" certificate as a result of evaluations conducted within the scope of the Industrial Competence Assessment and Support Program (EYDEP) coordinated by the Presidency of Defense Industry (SSB).
As a result of the evaluation process, in which the center's quality management systems, production infrastructure, and technological capabilities were comprehensively examined, SUIMC's industrial competencies were certified. With this achievement, SUIMC has gained the competence to provide services to major defense industry companies in the fields of composite production and machining as of 2026.
SUIMC, which has AS9100D and TS EN ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation certificates, is also an approved supplier of TUSAŞ, TEİ, Roketsan, Turkish Airlines-Turkish Technic, and Ctech companies. It provides services to the industry in advanced materials, testing, design, composite/additive/robotic manufacturing and machining fields, in accordance with international quality standards.
